Levittown Fire Co #1

Levittown Fire Company #1 is located in the Levittown section of Falls Township. Organized in 1953, we have been serving the surrounding community for over 58 years. The area that we serve is approximately 8 sq. miles with about 17,000 residents. Our first due area includes the sections of Birch Valley, Thornridge, North Park, Elderberry, Willowood, Pinewood, Lakeside, Old Route 13 and Route 13 from Penn Valley road to just past Mill Creek Rd, the east side of New Falls Rd between Falls-Tullytown Rd. and Penn Valley Rd., and the apartment complexes of Village of Pennbrook, Newport Village, and Gallilee Village.

Our department provides 24 hour fire and rescue protection. We operate out of 1 station located on Falls-Tullytown road right accross from New Pond Ln. Our apparatus consists of 3 Chiefs vehicles, 2 Engines, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Utility, and 1 Marine Unit. You can learn more information about our apparatus by clicking the Apparatus link at the left.

All of our calls are received through the Bucks County 9-1-1 system and we are dispatched via radios and pagers.

Incident Description:	Station 32 responded to a dispatched auto extrication at the electrical tower located on Falls Tullytown Rd near New School Lane. Upon arrival it was determined that no occupants were trapped, however, crews went in service to extinguish the fire.

2/19/2011 09:50 - Station 32 was dispatched for a roof collapse at 1420 Old Bristol Pike. Chief 32 saw the roof become airborn while enroute to the scene. Upon arrival, crews found that a large portion of the roof had come off and landed in front of the building on vehicles and on the front fence. An electric service line was knocked down off the building. In addition, remaining roof debris continued to blow off and accross the road. The road was shut down until approximately 1:00 pm.
